We adhere to certain policies to benefit you and create a harmonious environment where our artists can focus on your needs. We welcome you and will work hard to provide a great experience as we hope to become your favorite Lash Extension go to.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Customer satisfaction is the most important thing to us! We want you to absolutely adore your lashes and your experience. If for any reason you are unhappy with the results or anything at all, please contact within 2 days so that we can schedule an appointment to fix any issues.

APPOINTMENT/CANCELLATION POLICY

All appointments require a retainer fee to secure the appointment spot. The retainer fee will go towards your total cost. The retainer is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstance. Cancellation for any reason will result in forfeiting your retainer.

Late Arrivals: If you arrive late most likely we will not be able to extend your appointment time. Appointment will be charged at full value. We understand that last minute emergencies occur and will make every effort to accommodate your full appointment but this is not always possible. Service time may be abbreviated to avoid delays for other guests. If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. We require 24 hours notice for no fee cancelations. Rescheduling/Cancellations less than 24 hours from appointment time will be charged a non-refundable cancellation fee, either to the credit card on file or added to your next appointment. Appointments will be charged 50% of the service fee if cancelled after 24 hours or no show.

Late policy: please let us know if you are running late. You have a 15 minute grace period before your appointment gets cancelled and considered a no-show. If I am still able to take you in, there will be a late fee charged.
All trainings require a retainer fee that will go towards your tuition cost. The retainer is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstance. Cancellation for any reason will result in forfeiting your retainer.

You will receive an email confirmation upon booking and an email reminder sent out 72 hours in advance. Make sure to read everything on the emails to achieve the best experience for your service.

MOBILE PHONES
Please turn your mobile phone to silent or vibrate while your visit. We want your experience to be relaxing as well as the other clients. Your eyes will be closed the entire time and you will not be able to answer the phone or text.

CHILDREN
We offer a relaxing environment for clients and staff. Please do not bring children that need to be watched or supervised. This policy is for the safety of your children, our artists and our clients as you are not able to attend to your children during your appointment.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Do not bring or store any valuables on the premises, including watches, jewelry or large amounts of cash. We are not liable or responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged personal property while in, on, or about the premises.

REFUND POLICY
Because lash extensions require such gentle and strict maintenance requirements, we are unable to guarantee your lashes. We regret that promotional services, or gift certificates purchased are absolutely non-refundable. This applies to all services. We are unable to offer refunds on any services we have already executed. If you are unhappy with a service, please contact us within 24 hours. All retail product purchases are final sale. We offer the option to exchange or receive a store credit on unopened items.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Any reactions to eyelash extensions is not foreseeable by our skilled & trained staff (or even by you). All care is taken to ensure your safety. We will go over your aftercare with you and any contraindications, such as an allergies. No refunds will be issued for reactions, however, we will offer a Free Lash Removal should this unfortunate event occur. We kindly ask that you contact immediately if you become aware of any type of irritation so we may assist you as quickly as possible. 
 

NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS ALLOWED due to COVID safety precautions and unwanted distractions.
All services that were provided are NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances. If there are any issues, we will try our best to correct them. Everyone's skin takes in permanent make up differently, therefore, we cannot guarantee 100% successful result.
Results may vary due to the individual's skin type, blood type, lifestyle, existing hair, bone structure, use of medication, etc.

Photos and videos will be taken before, during, and after the procedure for marketing and educational purposes.

Self Care Spa is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.

 

Assignment

The Self Care Spa is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Self Care Spa and you in relation to your use of this Website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the United States for the resolution of any disputes.

Services

​

Lash Extensions

Every client undergoes our pre-screening questionnaire on COVID symptoms as well as medical history. This is important to determine if you are a good candidate to receive our services. Bad candidates for lash extensions include but are not limited to:

1. Lack of Natural Lash Hairs: In order to get lash extensions, you must have natural lash hairs for the extensions to attach to.

2. Alopecia: A condition causing the inability to grow hair.

3. Chemotherapy Hair Loss: Lash extensions will be possible again once lash hairs grow back and are strong enough to hold the extensions.

4. Mechanical Damage: Hairs that have been removed or are too short due to using a manual curler or scissors.

5. Trichotillomania: A disorder that involves recurring urges to pull out body hair, including lashes. For guests who suffers from this disorder, we suggest setting up a consultation so our stylists can look at the lash line. In some cases, eyelash extensions can still be applied and have actually kept people with this disorder from tugging on their natural eyelashes.

6. Poor Natural Lash Health: Lashes that are extremely short, thin and fragile may not be strong enough to support eyelash extensions. To strengthen your natural lashes, we recommend adding foods and vitamins to your diet that promote hair growth.

7. Damaged Natural Lashes from Poor Lash Application: Sometimes, guests come to us with natural lash damage after receiving a poor lash application at another salon or with outside lash stylist. In these cases, we recommend guests wait for the damaged lashes to naturally shed before applying extensions. This could mean waiting anywhere from one to three months, depending on how much damage is present. After that, they can schedule a consultation and our stylist will check the natural lash growth progress.

8. Allergies to Adhesives: Anyone with an allergy to the medical-grade adhesive cyanoacrylate (an industry standard when it comes to the application of eyelash extensions) may not be a candidate for lash extensions. However, our salons do carry a variety of adhesives ranging in strength to accommodate guests with allergies. For guests who would like to determine whether an alternate adhesive would make sense for them, we invite them to come in before their appointments for a patch test.

We require a pre screening (picture or in-person visit) if you already have another artists lash set. If you schedule without approval, pay deposit, and find that we are unable to match the previous style or am not the right artist for you, then you will forfeit your deposit.

PMU CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Permanent cosmetic and body art procedures are not recommended if any of the contraindications listed below apply to you. Please consult with your physician prior to booking.

• Under 18 years of age

• Pregnant and/or breastfeeding

• History of allergy to makeup and pigmentation

• Skin disorders such as eczema or psoriasis in the area to be treated (acne, sunburn, rashes, etc)

• Had Botox/Injections in the past 2 months in the area to be treated

• Active skin cancer in treated area

• History of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation/keloid scarring

• Viral infections/diseases: Hepatitis or HIV

• Diabetes

• Prescribed blood thinning medications

• Hemophiliac

• Healing disorders

• On Accutane, antasure, or steroids

• Undergoing chemotherapy (Must be no less than 7 months ago from date of procedure)

• Epilepsy, seizures

• Surgeries including blepharoplasty and or brow lift in the last 6 months

​EYELINER CLIENTS: Keloids, spider veins, fresh scars around the eyes, sty/blisters, dry flakey eyes, allergies.

​

BROW COVER-UP/CORRECTIONS:
This applies to you if you have any style brow tattoo that was done by another artist.
Please email us 3 pictures of your bare brows in good lighting. (left 3/4 front facing, right 3/4)
Please advise that you need to get your appointment approved before confirming the appointment. Unfortunately, not all brows can be corrected. We cannot work on compromised skin.
